Services

Aptis Studios provides digital design and development services as outlined in individual project agreements.

Refund Policy

No Refunds

We do not offer refunds for services rendered. Once work has commenced on your project:

  • All payments are final and non-refundable
  • This applies to all deposits, milestone payments, and final payments
  • Refunds will not be issued for any reason, including:
    • Change of mind
    • Project cancellation after work has started
    • Dissatisfaction with deliverables (subject to revision policy below)

Why No Refunds?

Our creative work is custom-tailored to each client, and significant time and resources are invested from the moment your project begins. Our no-refund policy ensures fair compensation for work performed.

Support and Revisions

While we do not offer refunds, we are committed to client satisfaction:

Included Support

  • Fixing Issues: If something is broken or not working as specified in the original scope, we will fix it at no additional cost
  • Minor Adjustments: Small tweaks and adjustments within the original scope are included
  • Bug Fixes: Any technical issues or bugs will be resolved promptly

Not Included (Major Changes)

The following are considered outside the scope of standard support:

  • Major design overhauls or direction changes
  • Significant feature additions not in the original scope
  • Complete project restructuring
  • Changes that require substantial additional development time

These changes may be accommodated as a new project or additional service at our standard rates.

Payment Terms

  • Deposits are required to begin work
  • Milestone payments must be made as agreed upon in the project contract
  • Late payments may result in project delays or suspension of work
  • All payments are final and non-refundable

Project Scope

  • All projects must have a clearly defined scope agreed upon before work begins
  • Changes to the project scope may result in additional charges
  • Timeline estimates are based on the agreed-upon scope and timely client feedback

Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide necessary materials, information, and feedback in a timely manner
  • Communicate clearly and respond to requests promptly
  • Review deliverables within agreed-upon timeframes
  • Understand that delays in providing feedback may affect project timelines

Intellectual Property

  • Upon full payment, you receive the agreed-upon rights to the final deliverables
  • Aptis Studios retains the right to use completed work in our portfolio unless otherwise agreed
  • Stock assets, templates, and third-party tools remain the property of their respective owners

Liability

Aptis Studios is not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits or revenue
  • Business interruption
  • Third-party claims

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.

Termination

  • Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice
  • Upon termination, payment is due for all work completed up to that point
  • No refunds will be issued for work already performed
  • You will receive deliverables for completed milestones upon payment

Communication Records

  • All communications (email, Discord, messages) are retained for proof and receipts
  • These records may be used to resolve disputes and verify agreements
  • By using our services, you consent to this record-keeping

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
